Zimbra Upgrade Information
Zimbra Email and Calendar will be unavailable during a software upgrade on Sunday, November 1, between 6 a.m. and noon. The servers will be upgraded from version 5.0.16 to 5.0.19.
The upgrade will address these specific areas:
Zimbra Web Client
• Resolves problem of Zimbra web calendar going blank
Zimbra Connector for Outlook (ZCO)
• Earlier versions of Zimbra Connector for Outlook (ZCO) will work fine after the upgrade.
• ZCO version 5.0.18 will be available on the My Cal Poly portal Software Download channel after the upgrade.
• The 5.0.19 ZCO client will not be released due to a bug that causes problems with password management.
• Now able to create and manage Out-of-Office Notifications in Zimbra Connector (ZCO)
Macintosh (Leopard Operating System and newer)
• iCal will correctly send meeting invites
• CalDAV support for calendar delegation will be added
• Cancelled instances of recurring meetings will no longer continue to show up in iCal with a strikethrough through the meeting title.
• Several other CalDAV updates will be added to improve Zimbra sharing features in iCal.
