IMAP Settings for Outlook and Other Clients
If you would like to use programs such as Outlook, Thunderbird or Mac Mail, please use these settings.
- Username: Your full Cal Poly Email address. Example: jmustang@calpoly.edu
- Password: The same password you use to access the My Cal Poly Portal.
- Incoming email server: mail.calpoly.edu
- Incoming port: 993
- Incoming connection type: SSL
- Outgoing email server: mail.calpoly.edu
- Outgoing port: 25 (587 works better for some off-campus Outlook users)
- Outgoing connection type: TLS
