Resetting IMAP Folders in Outlook Express


If a server folder that has already been deleted still appears in Outlook Express or a folder that does exist in the Web Client does not appear, it may be necessary to reset the IMAP folder list.

This can be done as follows:

  1. Right click on the IMAP server name in the folder list

  2. Select Reset List

The entire server side folder list will be redownloaded the next time Outlook Express connects to the IMAP server.
